Abstract Anechoic chambers are important test sites of electromagnetic compatibility 
measurement. This paper details the method of evaluating chambers including the test
procedures of shielding effectiveness, normalized site attenuation, transmission loss
and field uniformity. The factors which may affect the test results and the problems 
must be paid attention to in the measurement are also analyzed.
