Abstract The significance of electromagnetic interference(EMI) shielding material and
wave-absorbing material was explained. The mechanisms of shielding and wave
-absorbing were analyzed in different conditions. The species of electromagnetic
interference shielding material and the characteristics were inreviewed. At the same
time, the kinds of wave-absorbing materials and researchful hotspot were introduced
