Abstract CISPR 14-1 is the most important test requirement for household appliances, 
electric tools and similar apparatuses. Compared with the latest amendment A1:2008,
CISPR 14-1 Ed. 5.0 has been significantly modified. This paper describes the 
characteristics of the latest standard, analyses the impacts on the test and the test 
notes referring to the new standard.
