Abstract This paper analyses the differences between Annex U(GB 4943-2001)and UL
2353 through application range, wire diameter, construction and tests. The paper 
focuses both on the construction such as conductor dimensions, number of layers and 
insulation thickness, and on the tests such as electric strength test, flexibility and 
adherence test, heat shock test, retention of electric strength after bending test and 
infrared analysis test.
