摘要 对比欧洲及美国标准中的插头跌落试验方法，分析两类标准在试验设备、试验要求、试验对象、结果判定方面的差异及各自特点，得出需要根据插头特点和相应的标准进行跌落试验的结论。

Abstract The article researches into the drop test methods for plugs via comparing the 
European standard with the American standard, differences and characteristics in the 
aspects of test equipments, test requirements, and the result determination in these 
standards are analyzed. It is conclusion that the type of drop test shall be determined 
by the plug type.
