Abstract   This section provides minimum fire-resistance requirements for new center 
office equipment systems and for additions to, or retrofit of, existing equipment system
The main content are the frame-level fire-resistance criteria, shelf-level fire-resistance
criteria, material/components fire-resistance criteria, and wire/cable smoke limited
criteria. The requirements apply to the primary supplier and original equipment 
manufacturer of subassemblies. It is expected that all equipment use properly sized 
and electrically protected circuits.
