Abstract The 3rd International Symposium on EMC provided some information about 
EMC standardization and certification will be introduced in this paper. It includes IEC 
activities; a review about standards of electromagnetic field exposures; EMC 
management in Taiwan; regulatory requirements on CDMA mobile stations by Europe 
and US.
